OK so I hope everyone is feeling less fuddled than I am after that rather unproductive lesson this morning; next week will be better I'm sure. As for your blogs, some are looking very good but none are perfect so you all need to do some work on them. They should have the following on them by now:
1. Is Hollywood film purely a commercial commodity?
2. Hollywood film case study
3. American Dream
4. Persuit of Happyness
5. American Beauty case study
6. American Beauty character write-up
7. Analysis/comparison of American Beauty opening and closing scenes
This week's homework, in addition to ensuring all of the above is complete:
Add character studies to your blogs. Remember to summarise what each character brings to the film's representations of Americanism and the American Dream.
